Need a simple version of Ratemyprofessors.com, basically a clone of it. We are focusing the website for one university. Basically a search bar for professors, buttons A-Z where users click which button (letter) to find their teacher by last name, also a find your teacher by category area. All of the search options are on the homepage.
Once user finds professor; a list of previous user posts is shown, as well as average rankings in different aspects of the professor. Then below that users have the capabilities to input their own rankings. For example- numerical ranking of how easy or hard the professor is, average helpfulness, how much they recommend the class. Below that user comments are available to go with the individual users rank and overall feelings towards the class. As shown in Ratemyprofessors.com.
-User accounts not necessary
-Admins must be able to manage all content
-Contact Page with bug reports, general questions, and suggestions
-Refer a friend link
Most importantly we would like a website that looks very clean and professional, however simple, not too fancy. Much like how facebook.com presents themselves. We do not have a specific visual concept and are willing to leave that into the hands of the designer.
